OMIKI is the stage name of Omri Amar, an Israeli DJ and producer whose sound connects the energy of progressive psytrance with the depth of melodic techno. His journey began in Israel’s clubs: performing by 15, he became a resident at the Forum before making his international debut in Russia at 17, following an Astrix remix competition win with his early project, Analyzer. Since his first documented releases in 2012, OMIKI has built a distinctive catalog around powerful rhythms, memorable melodies and an instinctive connection to the dance floor. Tracks including “Balkan,” “Na Le,” “Krishna” and “Shivaya” established his identity, while collaborations with Yahel, Neelix, Vini Vici and Timmy Trumpet introduced his music to wider audiences. “Far From Home” and “In The Middle” marked important steps into the international festival landscape. A new creative chapter began with “RITMO,” his 2024 collaboration with Argy and Son of Son. Bringing his characteristic drive into melodic techno, the release opened a broader musical direction that continued through “WIND” with Argy and “Gloria” with Kevin de Vries. His trance roots remained central through productions such as “Kawaya” and “Sofia.” Touring across Europe, Brazil, the United States and beyond, OMIKI has developed a particularly strong connection with Brazilian audiences. His festival appearances include Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland Brasil, Tomorrowland Belgium and Rock in Rio. In 2026, releases including “Wana,” “MANTRA” and “Timony,” alongside contributions to Argy’s NEWORLD II, continued that momentum. At the heart of OMIKI’s evolving sound is the same dance-floor instinct that shaped his earliest performances: driving basslines, infectious melodies and a constant search for new possibilities.
